After a series of train breakdowns which culminated in the flooding of the MRT tunnel last month in October, SMRT has offered amnesty for their staff to step forward and admit to any wrongdoings in their work. During this amnesty period, they will not be punished if they owned up.
However whose fault is it really? Is this a case of blame shifting by SMRT's management? What must be done to solve this problem once and for all? We hit the streets of Singapore to find out.
